Hermea

Hermea is a Third Person Speedrunner game that was created by 15 developers as part of UCF's FIEA Capstone program. This game is planning to release on Steam in August of 2022. I was the Programming Lead for this project. Along with implementing game features such as: 

  • Wall Run

  • Double Jump

  • Running Stages

  • In-Game Leaderboard System using Steamworks

  • Destructible Objects using Unreal's Chaos Physics System

  • High Contrast Mode & Other Accessibility Options

In addition to managing the programming team on this project, I worked closely with the Design and Art teams to solidify ideas and ensure we met our gameplay goals and target framerate. It should be noted that I was also in charge of developing and maintaining the submission pipeline, code and build integrity.
